Fashion and lifestyle at Panorama Berlin winter edition

Leading fashion brands attend twice a year Panorama Berlin to show the latest trends and tendencies. Next week will take place the fall/winter edition and we have interviewed the organizers, so don't miss a detail about the novelties you will discover on the show floor.

What do you think that makes it different from other similar shows?

First of all Panorama Berlin is quite huge: 11 Halls and almost 50.000 square-metres surface area exhibitions space and shows a huge amount of market relevant collections and brands. Also, Panorama Berlin does not only showcase fashion but also Lifestyle products. Last but not least Panorama Berlin is a community, a place where the trade meets.

On this fall/winter edition, the show will expand its portfolio (lingerie, underwear...). What other novelties we will find in the next edition?

Plenty of new areas and segments, new lectures, etc.
For Fall/Winter 2017/2018 we present a whole new concept for shoes & accessories in halls 5 & 6, the men’s wear segment MA!N in hall 2 is topped off with its own lifestyle area where buyers find cool men compatible “stuff”. We extended our +Size segment HIPSTAR by another hall (7A) and gave NOVA CONCEPT (hall 9) a make-over.

Nova Concept now features cool denim & streetwear brands in combination with matching lifestyle articles.

What are the benefits the show brings to the city of Berlin?

The Berlin Fashion Week changed a lot in Berlin regarding fashion and the possibility to create fashion here in the German capital. Panorama Berlin is the biggest player in Berlin with most employees. Besides our own employees, we collaborate with a lot of Berlin-based tech start-ups, for example for our Panorama Digital project.

So, indeed the fashion trade show/the Berlin Fashion Week provides a lot of jobs – also regarding hotels, services such as taxis, etc. Socially it has brought fashion to the foreground here in Berlin.
