FIL Feria Internacional del Libro La Habana: the trade show
Cultural event considered the most significant event of the Cuban publishing movement. It began to be held in 1982, with a biannual cycle, and as of the year 2000 it begins to take place annually. It has its permanent headquarters in the Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña in Havana. Each edition is dedicated to a different writer and country. This fair also extends through the remaining provinces of the country. It is also known as the International Book Fair of Cuba
