The novelties of the next edition
With the theme of “Comprehensive showcase of sustainable automation and smart factory solutions for the woodworking and furniture industry”, WMF2016 aims to highlight sustainable automation as being the most pressing market trend, and to showcase the latest woodworking technologies and state-of-the-art machines.
Renowned industry associations and experts will be invited to deliver speech at thematic forums, sharing their professional views on the hottest market issues, industry technology and development, and solutions to enhance production efficiency and company competitiveness. It is expected to attract over 30,000 trade visitors to attend WMF2016, which will feature more than 600 top-notch exhibitors from 12 countries and regions across 60,000sqm exhibiting area.

Some participation results from the last edition
WMF 2014 was successfully concluded in Beijing in February 2014.
The exhibition gathered 445 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions with participation of 5 international group pavilions, namely German Pavilion, organized by VDMA German Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers’ Association; Lunjiao Woodworking Machines Pavilion, Qingdao Woodworking Machinery Association Pavilion, Shanghai Woodworking Machinery Association Pavilion and Taiwan Pavilion organized by Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI). Over 90% exhibitors rated the overall show from satisfactory to excellence.
Top-notch machinery and equipment, latest technologies and products were presented during the 4-day exhibition. It attracted 25,376 trade visitors from 60 countries and regions. Among all visitors, 97% were satisfied with overall show performance.
