Trafic: the trade show
Every two years, Madrid hosts the International Road Safety and Equipment trade show: that is Trafic, one of the leading European fairs in the sector. It brings together cutting-edge innovations in conjunction with major firms and the most representative business groups. The uniqueness of Trafic is the result of a consolidated project which has known how to combine the interests of two great sectors, namely Road Safety and Road Equipment, which are closely interrelated and share the same objectives and identical demand areas. Backed by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Public Works, through the Directorate-General for Traffic and the Directorate-General for Roads, as promoters of the fair, Trafic has become the main professional and innovation benchmark for businesses and public agents involved in equipping and ensuring the safety of the road network. This is an enormously dynamic fair which in recent editions has progressed considerably in tandem with the development of this sector and its investments in research and high technology geared towards improving road safety.
