Wind for Goods: the trade show
Today, 90% of the world's traded goods are carried out by sea, maritime shipping is responsible for 3% of global CO2 emissions. In order to reduce the environmental impact, stakeholders are developing groundbreaking technologies to decarbonize maritime transport and design innovative ships that are both efficient and respectful.
On June 19 and 20, 2025, the third edition of Wind for Goods, the only international event dedicated to wind-powered shipping, will take place in Saint-Nazaire, region Pays de la Loire, France.
The objective is to bring together the leaders and actors in the sector to present the concrete solutions and innovations that contribute to the decarbonization of maritime freight transport, and to discuss the key issues of this sector, which is aiming to protect our maritime environment. 70 exhibitors (including a dozen international companies) and more than 1000 visitors are expected this year.
Attending the Wind for Goods event is a unique opportunity to preview the modern sailing boats, just out of the yards, which will revolutionize the shipping of goods tomorrow. It will also be an opportunity to embark on one of these new generation ships for a unique sea trip.
