The typical professional visitor of TUTTOFOOD is an Italian or international top buyers from Italian importers of foreign products or foreign importers of Italian products besides buyers for national and international large-scale retailers and buyers for national and international small and medium retail chains, including the best deli chains.
Ho.Re.Ca representatives are also well represented, together with buyers for catering chains, restaurant, hotel, bar, canteen and wine shop managers. National and international travel catering buyers, travel catering buyers, shopping centre buyers, specialty food shop buyers, distribution platform managers are present too.

TUTTOFOOD is among the largest agrifood exhibitions in Europe along with SIAL and ANUGA, but TUTTOFOOD is unique in that it combines the excellence of the Italian food & wine tradition, expressed by a myriad of small and medium-sized family owned and operated companies, with the a selection of the best international offer. It is the only industry show on the Italian trade show scene with a truly international feeling. It is an event that meets the needs of companies that look mainly to the Italian market as well as companies that are focusing on exporting.
Can you give us some participation results from the last edition? How many visitors attend? from how many different nationalities were present?
More than 80,000 visitors from 141 countries attended in 2017, 23% were from abroad.
Lastly, regarding the exhibitor, how many stand exhibitors participate in the last edition? In total how many different countries where participating?
Almost 2,900 exhibitors participated in 2017, of which 21% international from 40 countries, with a 10 percent increase in terms of internationality compared to the previous edition. The top 10 most represented countries were Spain, France, Germany, China, Greece, the Netherlands, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and S Korea. As of today, approximately 2,000 exhibitors from over 40 countries all over the world have already registered for TUTTOFOOD 2019, including Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, South Korea, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the UK and the USA. The USA Pavilion, in particular, has received the official endorsement of the US Department of Agriculture. TUTTOFOOD thus becomes the first, and currently the only, USDA-certified agro-food event in Italy.
Furthermore, exhibitors from the following countries are in the process of being registered: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Ecuador, Japan, India, Kosovo, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Tunisia and Vietnam. Fruit Innovation – the event taking part simultaneously and dedicated to fresh produce – will see the participation of exhibitors from Cameroon, Canada, China, France, Germany and Spain, in addition to Italy.
