Linking the traditional with the modern, the Frankfurt exhibition grounds offer every imaginable facility for many different events and trade fair concepts. A total surface of 476.000 m2, 324.000 m2 of which are part of the exhibition halls and another 83.000 m2 in the open air, is the area covered by the third largest trade fair complex in the world.
The enormous column-free interior in the top floor of Hall 1 seems to float - in an architectural link to the Messeturm and designed by Helmut Jahn, Hall 1, with its city entrance, is a representative example of the Frankfurt Trade Fair landscape.
Aesthetically beautiful as well as functional: with its two new buildings, Hall 3 and the Forum, Messe Frankfurt is expanding its floor space capacity to a hall area of over 320.000 m2. And such generous provision of space here combines with greatly innovative technology too. The new Hall 3 counts as one of the most modern and most beautiful exhibition halls in the whole of Europe today.
Hall 4 has a light-flooded foyer, its own parking levels, various conference and office rooms and spacious exhibition areas. The outdoor exhibition area is directly outside the door.
Hall 5 has provided exhibition space on two levels since the start of the 1970s. The hall is equipped to take extremely heavy loads and can open up its top floor to the Congress Center.
The exhibition area in Hall 6 is spread over four levels and can be used in an extremely flexible manner.
The interior of Hall 8 is split into five areas to provide a total area of 30.223 m². It is connected with Hall 9 via the Galleria and is therefore popular for combination events.
