The Mediterranean Exhibition Center M.E.C. opened its doors as a Conference Center in 1989, with an exhibition potential area of 12.000 square metres and became host to 7 events within that very first year.
Since 1989 to this day about 300 exhibitions, mainly of Commercial character have meticulously been organized and successfully taken place, attracting visitors from all over Greece as well as Europe.
The exhibition area in MEC has 2 independent halls that can connect with each other, covering 16.700 square meters while the potential extension of the exhibition space up to 22.000 square meters. The building is equipped with cool-heat air conditioning units, fire safety equipment throughout, electricity provision substations as well as electricity generators for sufficient safety lighting.
