The first International Gem & Jewellery Festival, to be launched in mid September 2016, sets to provide an ideal platform for gems and jewellery buyers and sellers in the region and from across the world to meet and develop new business opportunities together.
The new show is organised by Hong Kong-based International Jewellery Event Limited in collaboration with three prominent trade associations: Hong Kong Gold & Silver Ornament Workers And Merchants General Union, Hong Kong Gemstone Manufacturers Association and Hong Kong Pearl Association. The show manager is ComAsia Limited.
The International Gem & Jewellery Festival is positioned as a showcase of Asian gems and jewellery and a platform for reaching to more regional and global markets. September has been a prime timeslot for a number of important jewellery trade fairs held in Hong Kong and nearby cities in the region. The new show, being strategically staged around the same time, will render an extra sourcing and buying opportunity for these buyers. It is also coming in the right time for those fine jewellery buyers who are looking for new supplies and products to cater the year-end Christmas and New Year’s gift-shopping season.
The outdoor show venue Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Event Space is located at the heart of Hong Kong’s CBD and overseeing the world renowned Victoria Harbour. It’s in close proximity to the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre and easily reached by convenient land and sea transports. What’s more, the causal and friendly marquee ambience is totally different from any general indoor venues. It promises to give exhibitors and visitors a very special and unique experience.
According to the show organisers, the inaugural International Gem & Jewellery Festive will feature a strong lineup of several hundreds of Asia-based gem suppliers and jewellery manufacturers presenting their best offers of gems, diamonds, pearls and a fine collection of finished jewellery products. Serious buyers who are looking for new supplies of finest gems and jewellery pieces from Asia will definitely find the new show just unmissable.
