Africa Independents Forum: the trade show

The 14th Africa Independents Forum 2016 (24-26th May) hosted by Global Pacific & Partners and ITE Group plc gathers together leading independents and corporate players worldwide and from across Africa, both listed and unlisted, large and small, established and new entrants, and provides enhanced exposure to the wider Africa-wide upstream industry in oil, and gas, exploration and development, including in E&P technologies and financial markets, engaging equity financiers, banks, private equity and investors found on the AIM and LSE, in the City, Paris and Frankfurt, as well as related service and supply industry parties and transaction advisors, with specialised Africa analysts and geoscience firms drawn from around Africa, or based in Europe, United States, Australia, Asia and elsewhere. In 2015, over 250 senior executives took part in this unique Annual Forum, which this year focuses on the new and fast-growing corporate players and investors in Africa’s oil and gas which have shaped new ventures, opened new basins and frontiers, built interior and offshore Africa, and played key roles in the farm-in markets and corporate deal-flow. Alongside the 14th Africa Independents Forum 2016 (held on Wednesday/Thursday 25-26th May) we are hosting:

  • 18th Scramble for Africa Strategy Briefing, on Tuesday, 24th May with Presentations by Dr Duncan Clarke, Chairman, Global Pacific & Partners (this, being presented in London for the first time): Separately Bookable

  • 2nd Africa Oil & Energy Investor Forum, featuring key investors and institutions funding and financing equity and debt for corporate oil and gas across Africa - Thursday, 26th May - (open to all attendees)

Showcasing independent companies with acreage and portfolio assets held in the Gulf of Guinea, Northwest Africa, Maghreb-North Africa, Central Africa, Eastern and Southern Africa; and in landlocked and littoral frontier states; the Forum in 2016 with some 36 speakers provides an unparalleled insight into current and emerging exploration plays and capital development projects, current corporate strategies in-place, winners and losers, and the unlocking of Africa’s large and yet-to-find hydrocarbon reserves, as well as the state-of-Africa’s geo-economics and political economy of oil, and the key issues shaping the future funding of companies and ventures in Africa’s upstream.
