Luthiers: the trade show
On August 23 and 24, on the site of the University of Lanús, "Luthiers: Exhibition of acoustic and electric musical instruments, equipment and accessories of nationally produced effects" will be held for the fourth consecutive year" More than 70 exhibitors, including leading luthiers and manufacturers of fully national instruments and top-notch artists, will be present at the most anticipated event of the year.
For the fourth consecutive year the National University of Lanús,with the participation of CAFIM (Argentine Chamber of Manufacturers of Musical Instruments) and the Argentine Association of Luthiers,will perform "LUTHIERS: Exhibition of acoustic and electric musical instruments, equipmentand accessories and effects of national production".
Year after year, the 200 meters that housed the workshops of the Railway of Remedios de Escalada are filled with music for two days. More than 70 exhibitors generate a meeting place where the best manufacturers of musical instruments and equipment of serial and author production from all over the country converge. With an attractive grid that includes live concerts, product presentations, clinics and talks, as well as exclusive programming for the little ones, this exhibition became one of the most anticipated of the year.
The three previous editions featured outstanding luthiers and manufacturers who provide their 100% Argentine instruments, and top artists. The 2018 edition, declared of Cultural Interest by the Secretary of Government of Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, resolution RESOL-2018-12-APN-SGC-MECCYT, has a turnout of more than 6000 people.
