What are the advantages of exhibiting at Health Ingredients South America 2018?

Since FiSA enables the entire food industry chain to meet in one place, creating a good environment for networking and conducting business, the fair offers an overview of what the current market is. In the last edition, for example, the macro trends of consumption, focused on foods and beverages with natural and organic ingredients, were evidenced by the success of the 59 exhibitors with solutions for natural ingredients, 35 with organic ingredients and 56 with functional foods.

According to our survey, about 85% of visitors have participation in the purchase process of their companies; 31% compose directorship or own their companies; 23% are R&D professionals. The fair foments international business, because many of the present ones are from companies operating in all Latin America, since 63% of the visitors from outside Brazil are from that region.

Can you give us some tips to take the best out of visiting this event?

This year at FiSA we will have many highlights, attractions and innovations. During its three days, the fair will feature attractions that are already tradition, such as the Seminar Sessions, which are 30-minute presentations with launches and new technologies; guided tours of the Innovation Tour and the New Product Zone, sponsored by Mintel, which highlights the major innovations in this sector. All aimed at boosting our industry and ensure good business and professional updating.

In addition, FiSA hosts the nation's premier innovation award for the ingredients, supplements, food and beverage industries. The Fi Innovation Awards will have five categories this year, with three winners in each: Most Innovative Ingredient, Most Innovative Functional Ingredient, Most Innovative Product, Most Innovative Functional Product, and The New Category, Most Innovative Food Supplement.

All this in addition to the innovations already mentioned as the Start-Up Innovation Challange and the Future of Nutrition Summit. These are moments of the fair that are certainly worth it.

Lastly, can you give us some participation results from the last edition?

In the last edition, we had 45 visiting countries that came to do business with more than 700 brands, and the macro trends of consumption, focused on foods and beverages with natural and organic ingredients, were evidenced by the success of the 59 exhibitors with solutions for natural ingredients, 35 with organic ingredients and 56 with functional foods.
