WorldFood Warsaw is a business to a business initiative designed for the food sector industry. If you are going to enjoy of three days of exhibition, discussion panels, special conferences on food and trends... among others, then don't miss the interview we made with the organisers of the show to stay up to date about all the details and novelties for 2016's edition!

WorldFood has editions in some cities like Moscow, Istanbul, Azerbaijan...among others. What makes WorldFood series different from other events of its kind?

The WorldFood series is unique due to ITE’s expertise in the markets that they operate. ITE Group has been holding WorldFood events since the mid-1990s with the main focus being in Russia and the CIS. Over time we’ve created strong relationships with the companies, associations and political intentions that shape the food and drink industry in these countries. Furthermore, we’ve grown our global network of offices and agents, and therefore can provide outstanding customer service around the world.

What are the novelties we will find at WorldFood Warsaw 2016?

WorldFood Warsaw 2016 will for the first-time include a dedicated health food sector, showcasing both domestic and international health food and beverage producers/manufacturer.

Other sectors will include ‘Wine & Spirits’, ‘Food Technology’ and ‘Ingredients’. We’re confident that these sectors will provide a more tailor visitor and exhibitor experience.

WorldFood Warsaw attracts a high international audience, can you give some tips to those participating in the show for the first time?

If you’re travelling from abroad, remember to check your visa requirements. Poland is a pretty open country with many visa-free agreements. You can find out the latest visa requirements online on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Republic of Poland website.

It is always good to have actual samples of your products at the exhibition for potential buyers. These buyers will then be able to touch, smell and taste the produce, allowing you to really sell your product. Shipping of products to a country can be a daunting task and needs to be planned in advance to ensure goods arrive on time. We have an official freight forwarder who can help exhibitors organise this. This information is made available in the event marketing manual.

Make use of the event ‘Matchmaking Programme’ and promotional material. Interested in meeting a retailer? Let the organisers know – we might arrange a meeting. Make use of the promotional materials (invites, banners etc) provided by the organising committee. Ensure that you send these invites to current and potential clients so that they are aware that you are exhibiting.
