Brussels Expo is a successful blend of 21st Century innovation with world famous architecture. Its 12 impressive halls, five of them dating from the Universal Exhibition in 1935 and others built for the 1958 World's Fair, offer state-of-the-art technology throughout. However, Brussels Expo´s best asset is its professional, multilingual staff that works closely with exhibition organizers, exhibitors, and attendees to ensure that every event is a total success. More then 115.000m² spread over 12 halls. Each of the 12 spacious exhibition halls reflects the architect and period in which it was designed. Each hall is easily accessed, and traffic between the halls moves smoothly and quickly. Each building has a generous ceiling height, permitting great design freedom for organizers and exhibitors. Each hall is air conditioned and wired with the latest electronic innovations, including WiFi. For these and other reasons, Brussels Expo is ranked in the Top 15 International Exhibition Centers. How to get here: Brussels is both the heart of Europe and the European Union. Brussels Expo also enjoys a central location; it is truly easy to get there by car, train or plane. And Brussels International airport is only a few minutes away from the city center as well as Brussels Expo. Thanks to the highly efficient road network throughout Belgium, the Brussels Expo is easy to get to by car, no matter where you set off from. Once you are on the Brussels ring road, take exit 7bis or 8 and follow the signs marked ‘EXPO'. Brussels Expo has the largest car park in the country: Car park C contains over 10,000 spaces. By Train: Brussels is easily accessed by high speed trains: Eurostar (from London) and Thalys (from Paris, Amsterdam or Cologne) both stop at the Gare du Midi. From there, take the orange Metro 2 line (direction “Simonis”) to “Clemenceau”. At "Clemenceau", take the 1A Metro line (direction “Roi Baudouin”) to “Heysel”. Starting from the Gare Centrale, take the direct yellow 1A Metro line (direction “Roi Baudouin”) to “Heysel”. Common Transport Plan: Thanks to a vast network of the common transport system of tram, bus, and underground railway, Brussels Expo is within easy reach of every section of the city. Both the MIVB and De Lijn buses stop within a radius of 200m from the entrance to the exhibition halls. By Air: Brussels international Airport is only 10 minutes away. When arriving by airplane, Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) is a mere 10 minutes away from Brussels Expo by highway. You can take a taxi directly to the Expo, or the train to the city center to check into your hotel. The “Airport City Express” leaves four times an hour (between 6 a.m. and midnight) and takes only 15 minutes. Then you can take the tram, taxi, or metro to your hotel. Source: Brussels Expo
