What made you decide for this new challenge, and why in Nairobi?
The Big 5 is an internationally renowned brand known for its market-leading construction events. Over recent years we have grown into markets outside the Middle East where we have three well-established events in the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, this has seen the introduction of further events in India and Indonesia. For some time we have been assessing the markets in East Africa and we feel that based on the current and future construction projects that it is the ideal time to extend the hugely successful Big 5 brand into East Africa.
Will we find novelties compared to the other Big 5 shows?
Each Big 5 event follows a general format that is then tailored to meet the demands of the visiting individuals in each market. In the case of The Big 5 Construct East Africa our CPD accredited workshops which are open to all visitors for free of charge shall reflect the needs of the local market.
